Talent Gate is delighted to announce that SMEs SkillUp has officially been selected for the Shortlist at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026, an award program organized by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the organization behind the QS World University Rankings, in partnership with The Wharton School, under the Lifelong Learning category.
SMEs SkillUp Named Among the Top 25% at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026
According to the organizers, this year’s awards attracted more than 2,200 projects across 15 categories, with the first round of evaluation conducted by more than 1,000 international judges. SMEs SkillUp successfully passed this stage, placing among the Top 25% of entries and advancing to the next round of evaluation.
For Talent Gate, this recognition is particularly meaningful for a project addressing an increasingly important challenge: how small and medium-sized enterprises can access learning and capability development opportunities in ways that are flexible, practical, and relevant to their real-world business needs.
SMEs SkillUp – Reimagining Lifelong Learning Experiences for SMEs
SMEs SkillUp: Multi-Interactive Lifelong Learning Series for Vietnamese SMEs was developed by Talent Gate with the goal of bringing lifelong learning closer to the practical needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Rather than approaching training simply as the delivery of knowledge, the project focuses on creating interactive digital learning experiences that enable learners to engage with content in an intuitive and flexible way while connecting learning to real-world workplace challenges.
This approach also aligns with Talent Gate’s broader direction in developing a digital learning ecosystem for businesses—bringing together training content, eLearning, interactive learning formats, and technology platforms to help organizations implement training in a flexible and consistent manner.
From Content Digitization to Capability Development Solutions
For Talent Gate, technology is only one part of the equation. The value of a digital training solution lies in its ability to translate capability development needs into learning experiences that are relevant and applicable in practice.
This principle also underpins the services Talent Gate provides to businesses, ranging from eLearning course development, training strategy and implementation, and expert collaboration to competency framework development and implementation consulting, as well as employee competency assessment.
Alongside consulting and implementation services, Talent Gate is developing a digital learning product ecosystem that includes eLearning courses, learning games (gamification), learning and communications videos, competency assessment packages, and LMS solutions. Through this ecosystem, businesses can build training programs tailored to different learner groups and capability development objectives.

Continuing the Journey at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026
Being shortlisted means that SMEs SkillUp has successfully completed the first stage of evaluation and advanced to the next phase of the awards process. According to the official QS process, shortlisted projects will undergo further evaluation to select Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in each category. Category winners will then be considered by the Grand Jury for the overall awards.
Alongside the awards evaluation process, shortlisted projects may also be considered for participation in the Innovation Showcase at the QS Reimagine Education conference, held in London, United Kingdom. This is a separate opportunity from the awards evaluation and is not a requirement for a project to be eligible for an award.
